Hello Belly

Hello all! Just wanted to post a little update on my life!!

As of today I am 25 weeks pregnant!! WOO HOO!! It seems like its going by soo slow but so fast at the same time! I had a check-up last week and the Dr. said she is happy with everything. My weight gain is perfect it seems like little baby P is doing good. So all is good in that area!! I think we have decided on a name but still vote!! There's only 4 votes and I know more than 4 people read this blog!!!!! Here's a belly pic of me at 24 weeks!



Married life is GREAT! No updates form that really. It doesn't feel TOO different from before. I'm just extremely happy with our decision and couldn't imagine things any other way! I think we're planning on moving soon. Our lease is up in April, and we both think it'll be better for us to be closer to civilization. I LOVE my house now, but it really doesn't make since for us to stay out here for another year. So we're gonna try! I'll keep everyone updated with our new address so no worries!!

First of all let me say... My keyboard on my laptop is missing the space bar. I have a space button that is a itty bittly little dot, and is hard to hit no matter how you type. Thus the reason I haven't blogged latley!!

First of all the wedding went GREAT!! I couldn't have asked for anything better! It was as if we had been planning it for years! It was AWESOME to have both of our familes there (even though we didn't get to visit much). But just everyone sharing our day w/ us was wonderful!! I had a wonderful time! I felt like a princess :-).

I must put in a special thanks for everyone who shared our day with us!! Also, Carolyn & Teresa (the 2 best Aunts in the WORLD)- this would not have happened w/o you!! Thanks so much!!



So about the pregnancy?? As of today I am 23 weeks!! 17 more to goooo!!!

I'm sure that most of you have heard but the 26th we went for our ultrasound and found out that little baby Prosser is a BOY!!!!!!! We are super excited! I don't think I've ever seen Matt smile as much as I did the day he found out it was a boy!! I promise you he smiled -big goofy grin.. not just a smirk- ALL DAY LONG!  It was also his first ultrasound! He said he was really confused! But I'm soooo glad I got to share that moment with him!

He has started kicking like crazy!! Every morning when I'm laying in bed and everynight when I've settled down are his favorite times to move around!! My mom got to feel him kick the other night... she cried it was so cute!  I weighed myself yesterday and it was 149!! OH MY!! I have gained quite a bit! The Dr. warned me about this!!

For the first time I actually felt REALLY pregnant. My tummy was tight, I couldn't walk right or bend over! It was an interesting experience -but that feeling comes and goes after eating too much-!! The worse part about all of it (so far) is that i'm tired of going to the bathroom every 15 minutes and I"m tired of eating!! I don't even crave anything. I'm sick of food!! Don't get me wrong! I loooove to eat! But I never get full anymore... I just get bored w/ what I'm eating!!

My next Dr appt is the Feb 23rd. I'll update some more after that! But that's all folks! -for now atleast-

Wow, this has been painless so far... Its kinda scaring me. I'm not sure if I should double check every little detail to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks goodness my aunt is Martha Stewart remixed. I don't think she'll let us miss anything.

Its going to turn out great. I finally got the invites out. I was rusing to get those out and now that I'm done I feel like I have nothing to do.

I found the perfect dress. My step dad told me he'd buy it for me, which is AWESOME! We have to pick it up a couple of days before the wedding, hopefully my belly will stay where it is until then!! I'm so excited about how everything is turning out!

I think this was @ like 14 or 15 Weeks :-)

Okay, so first the check up went well. I've gained 7 lbs throughout this pregnancy. The Dr. said I was right on key and next time I go in i'll have gained a good extra 5 or 10 lbs (GREAT). It took her a bit to find the heartbeat.. it kinda scared me. But she said I was just carrying low and there were no worries, that is also why I haven't felt the baby move yet :-(. All is well though.

Wedding.. ARGH! So we decided to go ahead and plan a small wedding. That was a week ago, and the wedding is growing by the minute. We made a guest/invite list and it was 150 people long! AHHH!! AND we only have 2 weeks. HOLY POOP! So Matthew has  left for another patrol and I'm in Lumberton with the family for a while, hopefully going to plan a wedding! So invites will get to you guys asap!

I had a great New Years. I wasn't looking forward to it becuase I figured it'd be me and Matt half asleep on the couch. But one of his buddies from the boat called and we went to get Japaneese with them, then they came over and we played Mario, chatted, and watched the ball drop. It actually turn out to be a lot of fun!

As time goes by I get more and more excited about my baby. This is going to be the longest 5 months EVER!!! Oh well. I have a lot to look forward to between now and then!!

Our Next appt is Feb 2nd. That's when we'll find out the gender!! WOOT WOOT! I'll be sure to keep everyone updated!

So Friday I decided to stay another night @ my mommie's house just becuase I didn't wanna make the drive and didn't get in until late Thursday. Well I call my bf and tell him that he can always come see me if he wants, his words were "i would babe but I'm already on my way to Jacksonville". (He was going shopping for my Christmas present). I was sad but okay. So I called back and heard this lady in the drive through asking him about the dogs. I freaked... his excuse to not come see me was becuase he was on his way to Jacksonville. WELL WHAT THE CRAP! How can he have the dogs if he was on his way to Jacksonville. He said oh I decided to take the dogs. BUT U WERE ALREADY ON THE WAY! Man was i heated. I could've figured it all out if I wasn't so mad. SO about 10:30 there's a knock @ the door, guess who! YES it was Matt! I was surprised, and appologized for everything I had said about him, then asked where my doggies were (I really miss them sometiems) so he said "wait a minute I came here for a reason". THen he got down on one knee and said "U know I love you... dang girl you got me all nervous... but will you marry me." I said YESS OF COURSE!! I was sooo excited! It was sooo sweet!!! SO YAY! We're officially engaged.

Our First Christmas Together

It was awesome! We decided to open our presents the day before we came down to Lumberton that way we'd be able to do it under our tree (Which is BEAUTIFUL). So he wrapped his presents while I cooked a steak dinner. Then we exchanged gifts! I must say I am proud of him. I got an Edward calender & bookmark, a gift certificate to Barns N Nobel and the most amazing Wii game EVER! I gave him a robe pajama pants, his favorite boxers (2 more pair), and a scrap book I had made for him and he loved it! I must say it was the perfect little evening for the both of us! It'll be one to remember!

Today was my second Drs appt. It was pretty interesting. But first let me say the baby is fine! She checked the heart beat which was 151 bpm. Asked me if everything was okay i asked her a few questions and she sent me on my way. Not so interesting huh?

Well my appt was @ 11:30. I get there and there's a girl in the waiting room... No biggie. I check in blah blah blah, i'm in the waiting room and I hear screaming. Like a woman yelling at someone constantly. I'm like okay???? The ppl at the desk would answer the phone and say we have to take a message we're having some problems. Okay then a cop comes in i'm like WOAHHH... He looks at me and says 'are you okay?' I'm like uh yeah. So he goes to the back  the ANOTHER cop comes in and askes me if there was a cop already in the back, i say yeah, then he said are u okay miss. I said yeah. Then they escort this guy out. I'm like holy crap! I have no idea what happened but I didn't get to see the Dr. until like 12:45. And it was literlally a 5 minute visit.

Jan 5th is my next appointment. They'll test for any illnesses. Then in Feburary I'll find out the sex... FEBURARY!! UGHHH sooo far away. But its okay. I'll be happy either way. But I don't know if i can hold out on baby shopping for two months!!

As for me I'm doing good. I haven't had any weird cravings. Espically not for pickles. I always thought that if I had that craving i'd rather NOT eat. I just can't stand the thought, look, smell, ANYTHING about pickles. I'm so thankful I haven't had that craving yet. I get nautious easy, no vomiting. I haven't felt any movement yet I don't think. I'm tired but can never sleep. But besides that i'm doing pretty good.

So that's pretty much it about the baby, but now an update on our lives.

We're getting married. Sorry you had to find out from a blog but i'm trying not to make a big deal out of it. You may find that weird, but I just wanna be married. I know its technically just a legal document. But still I love Matt and I know I want to be with him for the rest of my life, and I'm ready to be married. After the baby is born we are going to have a receptionish thing to celebrate our marrige with our family and friends. I know it's not the same as a wedding, but its really what I want. We have no idea when where or how its going to happen, we're going to discuss that tonight. So i'll keep you guys updated on that.

Besides the stress of deciding about marrige we're doing pretty good. I've found this website (coastiechicks.net) which is a support group for people who are connected in any way to the Coast Guard. I never new that a few people over the internet could be such a support group. Every time i need answers or opinions or just plain support I post a message and they're there. Its crazy. I'm so happy I found it.
